Volunteer Opportunities include:
Information Booth Attendant - Pass out event maps, brochures and flyers, answer questions and help visitors locate the many events, restaurants and shops that are part of the big show.
Main Street Ambassador - Hit the street as an ambassador of the event and the local community, interact with artists, vendors, merchants, coordinators and event attendees to answer questions, record feedback, and spread goodwill while helping to ensure a smooth running event.
Game Booth Attendant - Set-up and operate fun carnival style games and give out prizes donated by the local merchants and community.

On the 2nd Friday of each month Mesa's historic downtown comes alive as street artisans, craft vendors, unique restaurants and shops, musicians and one-of-a-kind art & cultural events come together as the 2010 New Times "Best of Phoenix - Block Party!"
Our 2nd Friday community event draws over 3000 attendees from across the valley to Mesa's historic Main Street art & cultural district for an evening of fun, food and festivities for the whole family! Each month is different and past events have included fashion shows, pop culture art shows, classic car exhibits, music festivals and even dog nights!
2nd Friday is coordinated by volunteers which include 2nd Friday, LLC, local merchants, property owners, and community residents with the common goal of revitalizing the historic Mesa downtown area.
Our event reserves prime Main Street corner locations on event nights for sponsors that financially assist with helping to fund the 2nd Friday organization's costs which include licensing, insurance, advertising, printing, security, restroom facilities, prize purchases, bands and entertainment costs. Event organizers do not profit from any sponsorship dollars received and all profits are directed back into growing our event.
